When the global pandemic first broke out, I saw numerous anxious faces with masks on the news. As the number of infection adding up, humans were started to be seen as numbers. On one hand, the pandemic has isolated people, fueled the hate and discrimination in the communities. On the other hand, it has also united people unprecedentedly. People had to work together in order to survive. To depict the complex nature of society that has been exposed by the Covid 19, I collected those faces from the news and created this piece. When viewing from the front, the faces are united as one, but when viewing from other perspectives, they are isolated from each other.
